Michael Olamide is the Chief Technology Officer of InterSpace Distribution, leading the product and engineering that deliver independent music to 200+ streaming services and return clear analytics and royalties to the artists behind it.

Michael's teams own the distribution pipeline, the artist dashboard, the rights and royalty systems, and the data infrastructure that powers InterSpace's monthly reporting. Together they turn a complex global supply chain, dozens of platforms each with its own standards, formats, and timelines, into a few simple clicks for the artist.

A core part of the work is reliability at scale. With more than 20,000 artists and over a million streams a month running through the platform, the technology has to deliver releases accurately, ingest analytics from every store, and calculate royalties correctly, every cycle, without fail.

Michael also drives InterSpace's investment in data and automation: smarter delivery, faster turnaround, and tools that give artists insight into where and how their music is being heard, so they can make better decisions about their careers.

The goal that guides the technology is a level playing field: giving African independents the same tools, transparency, and speed as any major label, without ever asking them to give up ownership.
