Favour Anthony

Favour Anthony is the Chief Rights and Royalty Officer of InterSpace Distribution, responsible for how artists' rights are protected and how their earnings are collected, calculated, and paid. Favour oversees the rights and royalty systems that sit at the core of the InterSpace platform.

The role covers the full lifecycle of a right, from registering a work and its splits, through publishing administration and neighbouring and mechanical rights, to collecting from platforms and paying creators what they are owed. Favour makes sure that every stream across 200+ services is tracked back to the people who made the music.

Favour leads InterSpace's monthly royalty reporting, one of the practices that set the company apart in the Nigerian market. Where many artists once had little visibility into their earnings, InterSpace gives them a clear monthly view of how their music performs and exactly what they have earned.

Beyond reporting, Favour works to protect artists from the ways independent creators have historically lost value: unclear splits, unregistered works, and royalties that never find their way home. The systems Favour oversees are built so that ownership stays with the artist and money follows the music.

The priority throughout is ownership and transparency: making sure every creator keeps, and is paid for, the rights to their work, no matter how large the platform grows.
